Niacin (also known as Nicotinic Acid or Vitamin B3) opens up cappilaries and assits in pushing toxins through the skin. Further it helps utilizing glycogen for the liver cells. Transient flushing of the skin can follow ingestion of Niacin, especially if taken with little or no food. This is known within the Gerson users as a niacin flush. Gerson Therapy patients are usually adviced by physicians not to use flush free or sustained release (SR) niacin. This is exactly the right product for the Therapy.
